An exceptionally rare and unique manuscript, representing the only known surviving copy of the sixth volume of Tafsīr Maṭāli‘ Anwār al-Tanzīl, a major yet entirely lost Qur’anic commentary by the distinguished Hanbali scholar al-Rassaʿnī.

This manuscript was copied just nine years after the author’s death by his grandson and disciple, Ibrāhīm b. Saʿd al-Dīn al-Rassaʿnī, within the Hanbali scholarly circle at the foot of Mount Qāsiyūn in Damascus. Marginal verification notes such as “ṣaḥḥ” confirm that the text was collated against the author’s original, underscoring its authority.

156 leaves, 19 lines per page, written in a fine naskh script in black-brown ink on polished Samarkandi cream paper. Bound in a modern dark-brown leather cover with central floral medallion and corner tooling. Minor marginal dampstaining and small restorations to paper edges; overall in very good condition.

A manuscript of exceptional scholarly importance, preserving a lost exegetical tradition and offering a direct link to the author’s own textual lineage.

مخطوط نادر وفريد من نوعه، يُمثل النسخة الوحيدة المعروفة من الجزء السادس من كتاب تفسير مطالع أنوار التنزيل، وهو تفسير قرآني كبير مفقود بكامله لم يصلنا منه أي نسخ أخرى ولا طبع ولا تحقيق. نُسخ هذا المخطوط بعد وفاة المؤلف بتسع سنوات فقط، على يد حفيده وتلميذه إبراهيم بن سعد الدين الرسعني، وذلك في حلقة الحنابلة الكامنة بسفح قاسيون في دمشق. وتشير العلامات الهامشية مثل كلمة «صح» إلى أن النسخة قوبلت على أصل المؤلف، مما يمنحها مكانة نصية موثوقة واستثنائية. يتألف من 156 صفحة، 19 سطراً في الصفحة، مكتوب بخط نسخ جميل بحبر أسود مائل للبني على ورق سمرقندي مصقول بلون كريمي. التجليد حديث من الجلد البني الغامق يتوسطه طغراء دائرية مزهرة مع تذهيبات وزخارف في الأطراف. توجد آثار رطوبة طفيفة وترميمات بسيطة في الهوامش، وحالة المخطوط جيدة جداً إجمالاً. قطعة ذات أهمية علمية وتاريخية فائقة، تحفظ أثراً تفسيرياً مفقوداً وترتبط مباشرة بسلسلة المؤلف العلمية.
